  1. I would just like to tell everyone that I have climbed on board this list. After
  2. several weeks of hit and miss, I finally got myself subscribed.

  4. I am a full time user of 3d ware, started on the A2000, which I still keep tuned
  5. up, and then "ported" myself to the pc. Been waiting a long time for LW to
  6. materialize itself as a standalone on the pc. But it's here now, and so am I.

  8. Right now, I'm putting a pentium system together to run LW on Win95, 'cause it
  9. doesn't run well on Win 3.1, at least not on my present machine (a 486).
  10. Probably because I'm running a zillion apps all with their own "version" of
  11. Win32s, which drives  Win 3.1 crazy. Being a 16-bit freak, it doesn't like
  12. "downgraded" 32-bit apps.

  14. I'm also busy converting Imagine objects to LW objects and have been advised to
  15. use Polyform or Interchange to do so. I will be testing a demo version of
  16. Polyfoam soon, so I hope it works.  I have some rather large objects (+10,000
  17. vertices) to convert, so it's kinda tuff.

  19. BTW, I just got through reading the threads on the BML system. I'm tempted.
